Jamie is not only the one who looks after all the pennies but also the one who keeps all of our technology and systems in order.

Whether it’s making a fancy spreadsheet, building a website, putting up walls, installing solar power systems, or designing a new process to make us more efficient, he can turn his hand to pretty much anything.

His journey with Kent Dog Walker actually started before the brand even began. Many years ago when he worked in the corporate world, Charlie (our brand founder) actually worked for him for a while. That is where their friendship started and all these years later he’s now well and truly part of the #TeamPink family.

After having spent too many years in the corporate world, Jamie decided to put everything he had learned about the business world to better use. Jamie’s background is in “Process Reengineering”, which is just a posh way of saying he would go into companies, rip up the rule book and make things slicker and more efficient. This gave him a wide experience of many different business types and the opportunity to really peek under the hood of how big businesses worked.

With all of this knowledge in hand, Jamie started several of his own successful businesses. There were plenty of mistakes, but through things going wrong, that is where knowledge really grows.

It wasn’t long before Jamie and Charlie started working together on seriously upgrading Kent Dog Walker’s system and processes. Within months we had our first online system (the first in the area to do that!) and that was just the start of his journey. It didn’t take long before Jamie ended up working pretty much full-time at KDW and even owning one of the franchises.

Now, nearly seven years on he’s become the company’s Finance Director and is helping KDW make its transition into its next phase of expansion.
